Ginger is a born healer. She started massaging her family members at the age of 11. A few years later is when she knew that massage was her calling. In 2007, at De Anza community college, Ginger graduated magna cum laude with an associates degree in massage therapy. This experience gave her the opportunity to intern at Stanford’s Athletic facilities for several months. This is where Ginger knew that rehabilitation types of massage was what she excelled at. From there she decided she wasn’t done learning. Ginger went back to school fulltime while working as a certified massage therapist fulltime as well. She graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology “the study of human movement” with an emphasis in physical therapy. Ginger also achieved a minor in psychology.
Over her 10 years of experience in the field of massage her style has been whittled down to performing custom massages for each person she touches. Some say her touch is magical. Ginger really focuses on analyzing musculoskeletal imbalances. Then she applies just the right amount of pressure to the areas that are in need. It is guaranteed to be a great healing experience, but it is not likely that you will fall asleep during a massage with Ginger. You will have better range of motion, possibly better posture, and most definitely be better educated about your own body.
In her free time, Ginger likes to go to the beach to unwind from the craziness of silicon valley. She also likes to go see live music being performed either by some of her friends locally or in San Francisco or Oakland. On her days off she like to sleep in and cuddle with her English bulldog and boyfriend.
